Erie’s Black Wallstreet

Kyra Taylor is a founding member and the Executive Director of Erie’s Black Wallstreet, whose mission is to serve as a vehicle for change and empowerment of Erie’s Black Community through cultivating meaningful relationships, education of members, the creation of social networks and the promotion of black entrepreneurship while creating a culture of Black Excellence and Wealth in Erie. Taylor is employed by the County of Erie as a counselor and volunteers with youth in the City of Erie encouraging education and community involvement. She received her BA in History with a minor in Women’s Studies from Edinboro University.
